I've started working on a workout program called Crossfit with some great people since last two weeks. Just went for like 4 times, the first time I failed to finish because feeling sick, the last 3 times went well although I got sore muscles all over. It's an exercise not only to train up cardio strength, but also helps to get rid of fat and build up some muscles.
I like the way the trainer teaches and helps, always have to keep our back straight and reach out our hips as far as we could to have the stress and weight supported by the thighs. We train at home and parks, I have a good feeling I'm going to train up with them for a while since I've gained so much weight the last 2 months, simply because of too many meals and less work out.
One thing that impresses me is the trainers're almost like volunteers and their vision is to help everyone keep a regular workout hobby. I'm only charged less than HK$50/class, where I get to be trained one by one for two sundays. Eyes water because it's really great to see people with selflessness and big heart. Called me biased but they're all not grown up in HK, either in Canada or USA. Guess HK people're more busy with $ making and entertainment. The world's a much better place with these people.
I finished an 28 mins work out by doing 15 rounds of jumping up->lifting a 10lb dumbbell->squat. From 1 time each rd to 15 times. I finished them with a lot of sweat and determination. And it feels so great because I could never sweat so much in half an hour.
Guess from now on my workout has to include crossfit apart from jogging.
I'd recommend everyone to check out this exercise.
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program with the aim of improving, among other things, muscular strength, cardio-respiratory endurance, and flexibility. It advocates a perpetually varied mix of aerobic exercise, gymnastics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weight lifting.
